Hi! My name is Kaisa and I work as the head of restaurant operations at Sushibar+Wine taking care of all our restaurants in Helsinki, Finland and in Oslo, Norway. My responsibilities include helping our managers and employees succeed in their work the best way they can, developing our business functions and restaurant concept, budgeting, finding better ways to work and making sure everyone enjoys their time with us - employees and customers.
I started working at Sushibar+Wine in 2012 as a waitress. Over the years I've worked my way up the ladder working as a duty manager and a restaurant manager too and since 2017 I've worked as the head of operations. Due to my history in the company I might be a familiar face from our restaurants located in Helsinki and especially our Freda restaurant, which was my home base for years. Nowadays I spend my time mainly working on the background but you can catch a glimpse of me with my laptop in any of our locations - and if you're lucky, even behind the counter. I'm at least as excited at work today as I was when I started and I'm super happy and proud that the company has trusted in my skills and has given me great opportunities over the years!
